June is all about the "dads" in our lives! Dad's come in all sorts of ways, especially in my life. My day-one dad was there when I was conceived and was my ultimate friend and confidant, but he passed away almost 30 years ago. Then, I have certain men in my life who have been “like a dad” for me ever since. We also have the dads of our children, for which I am very blessed to have my daughters' dad be very present in their life. We also have the dads we miss dearly, the step-dads, the pet dads, and I could go on and on....So, in honor of the dads in our lives: do something special with those you love and honor them this special month. We never know what tomorrow brings, so let's celebrate our dad's today and all month. Bring him a wrench with some ice cream or a remote control and his favorite candy. Most of all, be sure to share how much he means to you, tell him you love him, give him a hug, whether he likes it or not. :-) If your dad is no longer with us, always know he is with you in memories and watching over you. Happy Dad’s Day month!
